Privacy Statement – Workshops

Arte Vanilla B.V. values your privacy and aims to be transparent about how we use your personal information.

This privacy statement applies to personal data collected when you book or participate in one of our workshops.

What information we collect

When you make a workshop booking, we may ask for:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Information relating to your workshop booking

We only request information that we need to manage your booking and communicate with you about the workshop.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

• Register and manage your workshop booking
• Send booking confirmations or practical information
• Contact you if there is a change to your workshop
• Contact you if a workshop needs to be rescheduled or cancelled
• Answer questions relating to your booking

Your name, email address and phone number will not automatically be used for marketing purposes.

Marketing consent

During the booking process, you may separately choose to give us permission to contact you by email about future Arte Vanilla workshops, events and related activities.

We will only use your email address for these marketing purposes when you have actively ticked the marketing consent box.

Giving marketing consent is optional and is not required to book or attend a workshop.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe option in our emails or by contacting us at info@artevanilla.nl.

Withdrawing your marketing consent does not affect your workshop booking.

How long we keep your information

Workshop-related personal information is normally retained for a maximum of 12 months after the workshop.

Some information may need to be retained for longer where we are legally required to do so, for example for financial, tax or accounting purposes.

Marketing contact information may be retained for as long as you remain subscribed. If you withdraw your consent, we will stop using your information for marketing purposes.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may use service providers that help us operate our website, bookings, payments, email or administration. Where these providers process personal information on our behalf, we expect them to handle that information securely and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.

Your privacy rights

Under applicable privacy legislation, including the GDPR, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, have incorrect information corrected, request deletion of information where applicable, object to certain processing, or withdraw previously given consent.
